On a crisp day in November, nothing says Fall to me like gooey s'mores. Whether you're sitting outside by a campfire, or snuggling inside in front of a fire place, making s'mores always makes ya feel warm and fuzzy inside. I've seen countless s'mores recipes, all with different variations to make each one unique. I decided to go with a recipe I saw for s'mores brownies. It looked super simple and I hoped it would have that classic s'mores flavor.
I started by making a good ole' box mix of fudge brownies, following the directions on the box. Once the brownies finished baking, I sprinkled mini marshmallows over the top as well as crumbled graham crackers, and placed the brownies back in the oven (this time under the broiler.) You have to be VERY careful once the brownies are under the broiler, the marshmallows brown VERY quickly… let's just say mine came out pretty torched!

The last step is to complete the "s'mores" part of the brownie by sprinkling chopped up Hershey bar bits over the top. The chocolate gets all melty from the heat of the brownies, and all I can say is that these looked ooey, gooey, delicious (even slightly burnt!)

I delivered a plate of these to my neighbor and I have no doubt that they will find these just as scrumptious as I did!
Since the holidays are just around the corner (YIKES!) I have no doubt I will be doing plenty of baking in the near future. Stayed tuned :)
